Why Pleasure Isn’t Frivolous

What if pleasure isn’t something we earn after we’ve healed, but part of how we heal? In this conversation, I explore pleasure as a source of nourishment and information, and why so many of us have learned to disconnect from it. We talk about the difference between pleasure and dopamine, the guilt that can come with slowing down, and how small moments of savoring can help us reconnect with the body—while honoring the parts of us that may not yet feel safe enough to do so.
